Dr. (Lt. Col.) Joseph Dore, from Charlotte, N.C., Company C, 199th Forward Support Battalion, tells a young goat, "Open up and say Baaa!" during a medical civil affairs project sponsored by 2nd Battalion, 156th Infantry Regiment, 256th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division. The medics made their final stop with a nomadic sheep herding family near the town of Thineeyah. The family was very healthy and only required basic medical attention so Dore tried his skills as a veterinarian.
