PIC: SSG. Timothy Lawn; SGT. Joseph Renteria works to stabilize a Soldier, that suffered a seizure and head trauma at forward operating base Cobra, as they transport him to the nearest Combat Support Hospital. Renteria is from Yakima, Wash., assigned to the 54th Medical Company, Air Ambulance, of the 36th Medical Battalion, assigned to the 44th Medical Command, Ft. Lewis, Washington,
The injured Soldier is assigned to the 278th Tennessee Army National Guard based at Forward Operating Base Caldwell, Diyala.

the oft overlooked Med Evac crews are in the air 24/7 to bring wounded to CSHs. Thanks for the pictures of this 54th AA crew in action.
