Air Force Reserve Capt. Rick Valdes, an emergency room family nurse practitioner for Tuba City Indian Medical Center in Tuba City, Ariz., is currently deployed to Southwest Asia as a registered nurse for the 386th Contingency Aeromedical Staging Facility, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
