SFC Timothy Knoblach, HHC 1/34th BCT of Hastings, Mn. entertains Iraqi children by paying them a small fee to release a pigeon. Iraqi children swarm American service members when they have the opportunity to receive hand-outs such as pens and pencils, beanie babies or other gifts.

I think it's a traqedy that the obviously honorable memebers of our armed forces have been sent on a fools mission. (and i'm speaking of the president)
You do good work in showing this pictures; despite my likely political disagreement with you i still come freqeuntly to see what you've put up.
Ultimately, I hope you all come home safe.
I never considered freedom for 5 million people and killing terrorists who do not care who they kill as long as they get their way, which is death to all Christians and Jews, a fool’s mission. But that’s easy for you to say while living in the lap of luxury and having never lived under an oppressive and sadistic dictator.
It certainally wasn't easy for me to say and i'm certainly not living in the lap of luxury.
I would question your conclusion that this war has brought freedom to 5 million. I've also seen evidence that US military operations kill a great deal more than the terrorists you describe.
But more to the point, I say fools mission becuase it a mission that http://usacac.leavenworth.army.mil/CAC/milreview/English/MarApr06/Cohen.pdf>cannot be won with military force<.
Sorry - this is the link i tended. I won't bug you again.

That's a beautiful shot in so many ways, and I know this kind of good deed happens 1000 times a day. Congratulations for spending a little time with the good guys, and best wishes to you as you hunt down the bad guys. It's the good fight, so keep at it. I salute you. Damn the torpedoes.
Thank you for sharing a little bit of what life is like for our troops over in Iraq. You won't see these things in the news. But most of us already know about all the good things our people are doing over there.
Pay no attention to the trolls scouring the internet to find pages to comment on. Let them go back to the warmth and safety of their little dorm room beds, and sleep well knowing that others are doing the dirty work for them.
I am going to DC tomorrow with a "Gathering of Eagles" to stand at the Wall in support of all of our veterans and our troops currently fighting for freedom.
Thanks to the troops and God Bless them all!
