A Marine with 5th Battalion, 10th Marines Civil Affairs Group rests inside one of the buildings on a Forward Operating Base. CAG patrols regularly through the city of Al Fallujah to promote welfare, morale, and provide support to the battalion with information attained during their patrols. Regimental Combat Team 6 is deployed with Multi National Forces-West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi security forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
