Smith, an operating room technician and Tacoma, Wash., native with Combat Logistics Battalion-2, 2d Force Service Support Group (Forward), grill hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken wings for their fellow sailors at the hospital. Scott Garmon, a surgical technician and Douglasville, Ga., native, with Combat Logistics Battalion-2, 2d Force Service Support Group (Forward), serves hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken wings to fellow sailors at the hospital here March 23. The staff at the hospital took a break from the daily grind of operations in Iraq to cookout and play sports, but their morale day was interrupted by indirect fire and again by the need for medical personnel when a few wounded Marines were medically evacuated to the hospital by helicopter.
